Q: Can I purchase a VIP Package over the phone or at the Box Office?
A: No, VIP Packages may only be purchased online at weirdal.com/tour.
Q: Am I able to purchase a VIP Package even though I don’t have a ticket to the show?
A: No, you must have a ticket to the show to attend a VIP event. You will be asked to present your ticket at VIP Check-In.
Q: I have an Accessible Seating ticket for my show. Is there Accessibility for the VIP Program?
A: Please contact us at vip@weirdal.com before purchasing your VIP Package and we will do our best to make sure there is accessibility for the post-show VIP event for your show.
Q: Does the VIP Package have a minimum age?
A: Only if the venue itself has a minimum age, which is rare. Check to see if your show’s venue has a minimum age policy.
Q: Is my VIP Package refundable?
A: No, like most show tickets, VIP Packages are non-refundable.
Q: Am I able to purchase a VIP Package as a gift, or transfer my package to someone else?
A: Yes, provided the recipient of the gift or transfer has a ticket to that night’s show. You will need to furnish them with:
- A photocopy of your photo ID
- A note from you authorizing the new guest to attend the VIP event in your place.
They can present these at VIP Check-In either in digital or paper form. Please include your cell number on the note in case we need to contact you. Note that the email we send out with VIP Check-In Info is sent to actual purchasers only, so you will need to forward your informational email to your guest.
Q: If I’m unable to make it to VIP Check-In during check-in hours, will I still be able to attend the after-show Meet & Greet and collect my merchandise?
A: Yes, the VIP details email you will be sent 5-7 days prior to your show will have full instructions in case you arrive late. Please note that if you are not able to make it at all we cannot guarantee the merchandise will be mailed to you.
Q: When and where do I check in as a VIP Guest?
A: VIP Check-In for your show will be detailed in the information email you will receive from us 5-7 days prior to your show. Check-In is usually 30 minutes before doors open / 90 minutes before show time. The VIP Check-In table is usually just outside the venue’s front entrance.
Q: Is VIP parking included in my package?
A: We wish it were, but no, parking is not included.
Q: Can my merchandise be held for me to pick up at the after-show VIP Meet & Greet?
A: No, with many VIP guests this would be difficult to accomplish. However, the Tour Poster that comes with your package will in fact be kept for you to pick up at the Meet & Greet.
Q: Can I have a personal item autographed at the Meet & Greet instead of the Tour Poster?
A: Yes, in place of the poster, but not as an additional autograph. Each VIP Package includes one autograph only. If you choose to have a personal item autographed in place of the poster, you will still receive your poster.
Q: The people attending the concert with me may be arriving late. How would VIP Check-In work for us?
A: As the person in whose name the VIP Package was bought, you would check-in for all of your guests and receive all their merchandise for you to personally distribute to them when they arrive.
Q: How do I get my photo?
A: You will be given instructions on how to download your photo (plus your group or couple photo) when you check in at the VIP table.
Q: If I am buying my child a VIP package, do I need to buy one for myself?
A: You do not need a VIP package to be able to escort your minor child to the meet and greet. You will not receive any of the merchandise, photo, or autograph for yourself.
Q: Does every person in my group need to purchase a VIP Package in order to get a photo with Al?
A: Yes. Only those who purchase a VIP Package may participate in their individual and group/couple photos.
Q: If I am buying a VIP Package, but the rest of my group is not, can they still join me in the VIP area after the show?
A: No, only those who have purchased a VIP Package may enter the VIP area (except adults accompanying a minor).
